James Brown has continued his partnership with the Poetry Society, illustrating the marketing materials for the ‘Foyle Young Poets Award’ for the 4th consecutive year. James used bold colours and graphic imagery for this striking image.

In a 1976 episode of Dr Who, Hackney Wick was referred to as “A mud patch in the middle of nowhere”. Thirty six years later East London is basking in the glory of the Olympic Games. With his studio just around the corner from the Olympic Park, local artist James Brown has created this brilliant print in celebration of the rise of East London. Sean Sims has created a new series of illustrations marking the momentous events, which will be taking place in London throughout the Summer. Featuring the capitals most iconic characters Sean’s artworks feature his trademark retro humour.

Rich Wake was commissioned by German publisher GU to create this poster to promote the ‘Parenting Guidebook’. Rich was briefed to illustrate a child’s take on ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, for a promotional series of theatre style posters. The campaign was designed to emphasise the idea behind the book, that children stage daily dramas worthy of the theatre greats. The combination of Rich’s retro typography and bold graphics culminated in a striking artwork.
