We’ve just received a copy of the fabulous ‘The Girl’s Guide To DIY’ written by Jo Vehari and Alison Winfield-Chislett. Published by New Holland and illustrated by Nila Aye, the book is the ultimate guide for the modern woman who wants to improve her home (without getting a man to help her!).  Nila’s glamorous artworks wonderfully illustrate the hints and tips for doing DIY in style.

Following on from the great success of ‘From Notting Hill With Love Actually’,  Lucy Truman was commissioned to create this beautiful cover artwork of Ali Mcnamara’s second novel ‘Breakfast At Darcy’s’. Lucy’s artwork sees heroine Darcy contemplating life with a nod to the classic Audrey Hepburn pose.

Emma Brownjohn is putting the finishing touches to a series of  new paintings in preparation for her upcoming shows.

Whilst Emma’s paintings and illustration work have obvious differences, both do share qualities that make both styles typically ‘Emma’. She has enjoyed a great success in both the fine art and commercial illustration arenas. Speaking of her work Emma says,  “Often there are no defining features in my paintings. Hopefully they could be anywhere, any city, any sea or any landscape…. I want my paintings to be a spring board for the viewer to dive into their own realm of colour, memory, reality or dream.”
